The Starr family’s features Starrlight Mead, our first honey winery (mead is honey wine). All of the honey is from North Carolina. Taste or award-winning mead, which edged out more than 200 entries in the International Mead Association’s 2006 competition. Hours are Thursdays and Fridays from noon til 6 pm. Saturdays from noon til 6 pm; meadery tours at 1 pm, 3 pm & 5 pm. Sundays from 1 pm til 5 pm; meadery tours at 2 pm & 4 pm.
