Gas Prices Dropping

The average price of gasoline in the North Carolina is falling, finally giving consumers relief to the recent inflated prices. It is much cheaper than it was a couple of weeks ago when parts of the state had the most expensive gas in the continental United States resulting from problems with the fuel-distribution system that began when storms hit the Gulf Coast. On occasion it has been difficult to find a station that has the grade of gas recommended for your vehicle. (For example, some stations are still not carrying premium grade.)
The MSN Autos site is fairly up-to-date to search gas prices in your area: http://autos.msn.com/everyday/gasstations.aspx?zip=&src=Netx
Another helpful site is the: Durham Gas Prices (click link) site to find the best prices in our area. This site covers all of North Carolina, and tells you the best place to get the cheapest gas for all grades. With a wealth of other information such as national gas price range map, message forums, price charts and directions to gas station that feature the lowest price. And even mobile phone alerts.
